Papers & conferences

We've been examining what happens when online respondents lose interest in a survey and what we can do to overcome this, covering:

Ways of spotting a potential loss of interest
Measuring the extent of, and identifying the triggers for, a loss of interest
Implications of a loss of interest for data quality. Using alternative questionnaire structures and question & answer mechanics to make surveys more engaging and easier to take
Measuring the impact and effects of improving the respondent experience
Recommendations for the design of online surveys

We've conducted original research in collaboration with GMI, one of our online suppliers, and it has proved to be an extremely hot topic!
We have presented different strands of our findings at the
Esomar Panel Conference in Dublin
21st - 23rd October

MIE Conference in Rotterdam
3rd - 5th November

MRA Fall Conference In Las Vegas
3rd - 5th November,

Upcoming areas of interest?

The next stage of our research is looking into alternatives ways of asking other traditional MR questions.
We’re also re-engineering open-ended questions to generate richer feedback online.
Next on the agenda is looking at the use of online communities to complement the NPD process.
